Major thank you's to all financial and prayer partners! You were just as much a part of this trip as we were!

Pastor Tom from our EN church in Lake Mary, Florida, summed up our trip so well that I couldn't have said it better myself:

"As I sit here still in awe of what God did the past 6 days in Baja Mexico there are 2 words that I believe sums it all up. THE GOSPEL.

No matter where we were or what we were doing the answer to every situation or question was the Gospel. When the Gospel was preached people were healed, families were restored, people found peace in the midst of their crisis, and people with hate and un-forgiveness surrendered all of that pain to Christ. We watched the hopeless find hope, the fatherless now have a father, and people full of hate turned to people full of joy. All of this happened because the Gospel was preached." ~ Pastor Tom Breckwold from our EN church in Lake Mary, Florida

It all goes back to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All of the testimonies and trip recaps you'll read below are results and fruit of the Gospel being preached in words and deeds.

James - On Thursday when we walked to the village sharing the gospel we were to ask people to come listen but I felt God telling me to pray for them now, so we did and doing so the tears started flowing!!! Friday came and we walked the villages again and I felt God telling me to pray for everyone so I was obedient and the tears started flowing again. What I didn't realize is that God was setting me up for the Fiesta where 800 people would be. I turned and looked at Pastor Tom and a man and his son walked up and his son couldn't see out of 1 eye due to surgery. We started praying in the Holy Spirit and continued for about 45 min. After praying he went from seeing one color to seeing 3!! We believe he didn't come for himself but God sent him for us! What an inspirational young man He is. After praying for him, 4 other men came up asking me to pray for them. Then between Friday and Saturday I had 2 pastors and 3 other people tell me that God is calling me to evangelism and of course the tears started coming and they all said that's one of my biggest attributes is that I allow God to use me for His will. So I'm thankful for Baja , I'm thankful for the people!!!!!!

Ornella - These 5 days were a blessing! It was amazing to see people getting saved and excepting Jesus as their Savior and Lord. I also loved being with this team, spending time with them, getting to know them and serving the Lord together! I thought this trip is going to be just about serving God and getting closer to Him through doing this but it was also about receiving. I received more of God on Sunday in a whole new way. I'm so thankful! Praise the Lord!

Alan - The Ten Days missions, was my first mission trip, I didn't know what to expect, but I knew that God was going to be there, and I wanted to be where He was. God has shown me a lot about my self this week, where I'm strong and where I'm weak. Also that my priorities have been all wrong. God has broken my heart for the people of Baja and all over the world.  My life will never be the same after this trip.

Nikki - This mission trip has been a wake up call to all my emotions, even to some that I didn't know I had. I perceived absolutely everything of what a good Christian should be. The dominant feeling and action among everyone during the trip was HUMILITY! I saw the desire to serve and not to be served, in showing compassion, not just saying that we care, but taking the time to listen and to redirect paths through prayer, love and motivation without judgement or condemnation. From the youngest to the oldest, my heart was sweetened by love, hugs, conversations, personal and 2 minute miracle testimonies, tears, prayers, worshipping, praising, pain, paint, nails, hammers, drills, dust, hills, sweat, thirst, etc. I had some hard times but it wasn't anything that was too big for God or that He couldn't heal. NO ONE GAVE UP!!

Alli - It was an honor to serve and lead this team. This was not my first mission trip, but it was my first time leading a team on mission. Of the 4 trips I've been on, this was my favorite! I thoroughly enjoyed the combination of evangelism and building. I felt an extra measure of God's grace empowering me to let go of things and a greater capacity to be with people and not feel depleted (I'm pretty introverted and it's a big deal that I spent 6 days with 100 people and not much alone time and never felt overwhelmed!). It was the first time I prayed for someone to be healed and God healed them! . I also made a new friend.  I hope to have the opportunity to do this again next summer and bring even more people.
